Neurostimulation

Deringer-Ney has been manufacturing quality components for neurostimulation devices since the technology’s inception over 50 years ago. We specialize in stamping precise thin-gauge metals and small parts for these mission-critical medical devices. Most of our components are made from materials 0.003” to 0.008” thick and are less than one square inch. Manufacturers rely on us for our deep electrical contact system engineering experience, coupled with our metallurgical knowledge, which sets us apart from traditional stamping companies.

In addition to stamping, we provide in-house manufacturing capabilities such as insert molding for more complex parts, as well as brazing, soldering, and gluing. These additional processes allow us to act as a single source for reliable neurostimulation components and sub-assemblies. Deringer-Ney’s quality system is certified to strict ISO 13485 standards for the medical industry.

Quality Standards and Certifications

Neurostimulation devices are typically permanent implants, meaning failure is not an option. Component manufacturers for these critical devices must have extensive quality systems in place to ensure that the parts manufactured meet the customers specifications. Deringer-Ney is ISO 13485 registered and strictly follows quality controls needed to manufacture superior quality neurostimulation devices components.
