Sliding Electrical Contacts
Our sliding electrical contacts are used diverse applications from every-day devices to those that require the utmost precision and reliability. Sliding contacts exist in many devices such as position sensors, slip rings, and potentiometers. Example applications are wind turbine slip ring brushes, Computed Tomography Scan gantry power commutation, video surveillance systems, and fuel level sensors. We have configurations to accommodate low voltage signals (millivolt) to medium current power (<100 amps).
Applications
- Millivolt singals
- Currents less than 100 amps
- Rotating speeds up to 10’s or 100’s of thousands of RPM.
